We spent a week at 42 Cole with our extended family of 10 and it was magical. The house has been beautifully renovated, keeping the spirit of an old Maine camp, but upgraded with comfortable furniture, beds, top-of-the-line appliances, and a huge grill. It is both refined and kid-proof.
There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, so our group could spread out. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the dining table is huge, so we could all eat at the same time rather than in shifts. The lake is beautiful, the deck is huge. Kayaks and water toys are provided, along with a fire pit and lawn games. We’ve rented multiple lake house in the past, and this one far exceeded the amenities and comfort of any of our previous rentals. 5 stars in every category!

Bravo and Thank You!!! It’s not easy to design a perfect getaway site for a large group – but you’ve pretty much crushed it.
Whether its family or friends, finding enough space for a reunion or vacation getaway that easily handles more than three couples can be a challenge – but 42 Cole Road in Belgrade Lakes proved to be a fantastic option for our recent wedding gathering. With eight bedrooms (each with King or Queen beds) and six full and 2 half baths there was no need to draw straws to keep everybody happy with the accommodations.
Privately situated on the shore of Great Pond within walking distance of town, with an open view of the sunrise and a dock big enough to tie up multiple boats and accommodate multiple sunbathers, the relaxed design set a marvelous tone for our event. Spacious, charming and functional, with indoor and outdoor cooking facilities suitable for even the culinary fanatics in our group, and a fabulous firepit for late night conversation, it was a hit with our crowd.

Whether you just want to sit by the shore and chat with friends and family, or ski, wakeboard or fish yourself to exhaustion, Great Pond is beautiful and inviting. If you need a powerboat bring it with you (or arrange one locally). If you’re happy with kayaks and paddleboards they’re part of the package. Well done.
